Athens superintendent to retire | News
A local school superintendent will step down soon.
Athens Superintendent Dr. Orman Bridges will retire on July 1.
He gave his retirement notice to the city school board Thursday night.
Bridges has served as superintendent for the past 10 years.
He said he plans to play golf and travel.
