Neighborhood dispute sends one to hospital, another to jail | Crime

Athens, AL (WAFF) - A dispute between neighbors turned violent last week in Athens.

It happened on March 3rd on Acorn Hill Circle. According to investigators, Carlos Royles was in a fight with his neighbor over money. Police believe the two got into an altercation that ended with the neighbor being treated for broken ribs and a punctured lung.

Royles was arrested and charged with assault on March 10th. He's being held in the Limestone County Jail.
