McGlawn indicted on random shooting charge | Crime
A Limestone County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against a 20 year old Tennessee man on attempted murder charges.
Noah McGlawn is being held in the Limestone County Jail, without bond.
According to investigators, McGlawn got into an argument with his father on September 10th. He drove off in a rage, and turned his anger on a complete stranger on Highway 72. Prosecutors say McGlawn randomly targeted motorcyclist Brandon Matlock, and shot him on the road in Athens. Matlock was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital, where he eventually recovered.
McGlawn drove to a gas station on Highway 67 in Decatur, where he called police, confessed to the crime, and waited to be arrested.
There's no word when McGlawn's trial will begin.
