Deputies : Burglar said he was 'tired of being broke' | Crime
A burglary suspect caught red-handed told deputies he was "tired of being broke".
Limestone County Deputies responded to a burglary alarm at the L&S Grocery store in Ardmore this week. When he arrived, he saw 23 year old Eric Blain Garris trying to pry a door open. The deputy asked the man what was going on. According to the report, Garris replied "Man, I've just been down and out, and I'm tired of being broke."
Garris was charged with attempted burglary and public intoxication. He able to gather up enough money to post a $1,500 bond.
