Athens Police search for overnight shooter | Crime

Athens Police are investigating an overnight shooting where one person was shot in the leg.

Investigators said they were called to the 1000 block of West Washington Street around 8:30 Sunday night.

There they found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

The victim told police he and the shooter had been arguing earlier that day.

Police said they have a suspect, but no one has been arrested at this time.
